Hollywood Through the Ages

Twice a year, a magical celebration of the human spirit unfolds on stages across the country. This January, join The Penguin Players for their dazzling 2024 production, Hollywood Through the Ages—a star-studded cabaret that shines a spotlight on the timeless songs from Hollywood’s most iconic films.

Penguin Players and Penguin Project, a unique community theater program, has brought together talented artists with developmental disabilities and their peer mentors to perform in inclusive, inspiring productions. In Hollywood Through the Ages, artists with Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental or neurological differences take center stage, showcasing their talents alongside peer mentors who volunteer to support and collaborate with them.

This celebration of song, dance, and the magic of film features award-winning hits from beloved Hollywood classics such as “Jeepers Creepers,” “I’m Just Ken,” and “This Is Me.” Together, the cast and crew will transport you through decades of glitz, glamour, and unforgettable melodies—proving that everyone deserves a moment in the spotlight.

Hollywood Through the Ages is more than just a show—it’s a powerful reminder that disabilities do not define potential, and that theater is for everyone. Come be a part of this heartwarming celebration of diversity, creativity, and the joy of performance. You won’t want to miss this unforgettable evening of glitz, glamour, and star-studded fun!
